# dynomite vs Egg Shoot

The clearest difference is ads: dynomite at none against Egg Shoot's shown. dynomite also leads on review sentiment (52% vs 39%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). Egg Shoot's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (326 vs 97). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. dynomite sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Egg Shoot sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Egg Shoot holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 97 and 326 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of dynomite's written reviews are positive against 39% of Egg Shoot's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

dynomite ships an update every 2 months, Egg Shoot every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
