# RightNow Media vs PellaSchools

The clearest difference is rating: PellaSchools at 4.4 against RightNow Media's 3.8. PellaSchools also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). RightNow Media's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 7) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 7 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PellaSchools holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RightNow Media has 1.1K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

RightNow Media ships an update every 5 weeks, PellaSchools every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
