# RightNow Media vs WPEL

The clearest difference is rating: WPEL at 4.2 against RightNow Media's 3.8. WPEL also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). RightNow Media's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 5) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WPEL holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RightNow Media has 1.1K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

RightNow Media ships an update monthly, WPEL every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
