# RightNow Media vs Progressive CC

The clearest difference is rating: Progressive CC at 5.0 against RightNow Media's 3.8. Progressive CC also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (12.2 vs 15.0). RightNow Media's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Progressive CC holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RightNow Media has 1.1K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

RightNow Media ships an update every 5 weeks, Progressive CC every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
