# DCMP vs Flip

The clearest difference is rating: Flip at 5.0 against DCMP's 3.8. DCMP's advantage is ratings volume (13 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Flip holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DCMP has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DCMP ships an update every 4 months, Flip every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
