# i vs LashCam

The clearest difference is rating: LashCam at 3.7 against i's 2.7. LashCam also leads on iOS requirement (7.0 vs 16.0). i's advantage is review sentiment (20% vs 0%) and ratings volume (35 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LashCam holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: i has 35 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of i's written reviews are positive against 0% of LashCam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

i ships an update every 14 months, LashCam every 21 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
