# Folder Video+ vs Video Saver Offline

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Folder Video+ at none against Video Saver Offline's 5. Video Saver Offline's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Video Saver Offline sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Folder Video+ asks for nothing beyond the download.

Video Saver Offline holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Video Saver Offline has 109 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Folder Video+'s written reviews are positive against 41% of Video Saver Offline's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Folder Video+ ships an update fortnightly, Video Saver Offline every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
