# Untis Mobile vs School Bright

The clearest difference is rating: School Bright at 4.8 against Untis Mobile's 4.5. School Bright also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). Untis Mobile's advantage is ratings volume (1.8K vs 41) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

School Bright holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Untis Mobile has 1.8K ratings behind it against 41, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of Untis Mobile's written reviews are positive against 40% of School Bright's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Untis Mobile ships an update every 2 weeks, School Bright every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
