The clearest difference is update cadence: Digital Disc at every 4 days against MEGAPLAY's every 12 months. MEGAPLAY's advantage is price ($0.99 vs $5.99) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.5). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

MEGAPLAY ships an update every 12 months, Digital Disc every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
