# MyDoorView vs Brivo Install

The clearest difference is rating: Brivo Install at 2.0 against MyDoorView's 1.4. Brivo Install also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). MyDoorView's advantage is ratings volume (66 vs 4) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Brivo Install holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyDoorView has 66 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 3% of MyDoorView's written reviews are positive against 0% of Brivo Install's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyDoorView ships an update every 3 months, Brivo Install every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
