# Transom Note vs Docs Wallet

The clearest difference is rating: Transom Note at 4.6 against Docs Wallet's 4.0. Transom Note also leads on ratings volume (82 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 26.0). Docs Wallet's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (100% vs 70%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Transom Note sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Docs Wallet asks for nothing beyond the download.

Transom Note holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Transom Note has 82 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Transom Note's written reviews are positive against 100% of Docs Wallet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
