# WretchUp vs ANILOG

The clearest difference is rating: ANILOG at 4.3 against WretchUp's 3.1. WretchUp's advantage is review sentiment (91% vs 70%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On ratings volume, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

WretchUp costs $4.99 and ANILOG $5.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ANILOG holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9 and 18 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 91% of WretchUp's written reviews are positive against 70% of ANILOG's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WretchUp ships an update every 3 weeks, ANILOG every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
