# MileagePlus X vs SFC Plus

The clearest difference is rating: MileagePlus X at 4.8 against SFC Plus's 4.2. MileagePlus X also leads on ratings volume (21K vs 275). SFC Plus's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.2). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MileagePlus X holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MileagePlus X has 21K ratings behind it against 275, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of MileagePlus X's written reviews are positive against 30% of SFC Plus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MileagePlus X ships an update monthly, SFC Plus weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
