# WriteOn vs AI Podcast Maker

The clearest difference is price: AI Podcast Maker at Free against WriteOn's $4.99. AI Podcast Maker also leads on rating (4.1 vs 3.3) and ratings volume (128 vs 3). WriteOn's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 8) and review sentiment (50% vs 32%). On update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

AI Podcast Maker is free to download; WriteOn costs $4.99 up front. AI Podcast Maker sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. WriteOn asks for nothing beyond the download.

AI Podcast Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Podcast Maker has 128 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of WriteOn's written reviews are positive against 32% of AI Podcast Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
