# WriteOn Lite vs gjLists

The clearest difference is update cadence: WriteOn Lite at monthly against gjLists's every 2 months. WriteOn Lite also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WriteOn Lite sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and gjLists sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WriteOn Lite ships an update monthly, gjLists every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
