# WriteOn Lite vs Cheat Codes

The clearest difference is review sentiment: WriteOn Lite at 100% against Cheat Codes's 67%. Cheat Codes's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WriteOn Lite sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Cheat Codes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cheat Codes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of WriteOn Lite's written reviews are positive against 67% of Cheat Codes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on June 10, 2026 and June 4, 2026 respectively.
