# DeathGearX vs Reflex Unit 2

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DeathGearX at 92% against Reflex Unit 2's 75%. DeathGearX also leads on ratings volume (52 vs 3). Reflex Unit 2's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DeathGearX sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Reflex Unit 2 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Reflex Unit 2 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DeathGearX has 52 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of DeathGearX's written reviews are positive against 75% of Reflex Unit 2's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
