# VPN Proxy OvpnSpider Pro vs MiChat

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MiChat at 100% against VPN Proxy OvpnSpider Pro's 36%. MiChat also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). VPN Proxy OvpnSpider Pro's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.8) and ratings volume (11K vs 8). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Proxy OvpnSpider Pro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. MiChat asks for nothing beyond the download.

VPN Proxy OvpnSpider Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Proxy OvpnSpider Pro has 11K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of VPN Proxy OvpnSpider Pro's written reviews are positive against 100% of MiChat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VPN Proxy OvpnSpider Pro ships an update every 2 months, MiChat every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
