# Night View vs Stellar Tour

The clearest difference is update cadence: Stellar Tour at every 3 weeks against Night View's every 33 months. Night View's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Night View sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Stellar Tour sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Night View ships an update every 33 months, Stellar Tour every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 12, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
