# Userbrain Recorder vs Nielsen VizIT

The clearest difference is rating: Nielsen VizIT at 1.8 against Userbrain Recorder's 1.3. Nielsen VizIT also leads on ratings volume (18 vs 3). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Nielsen VizIT holds the better App Store score, 1.8 against 1.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nielsen VizIT has 18 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of Userbrain Recorder's written reviews are positive against 19% of Nielsen VizIT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Userbrain Recorder ships an update every 3 weeks, Nielsen VizIT monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
