# Microsoft Power BI vs eCrew

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Microsoft Power BI at 47% against eCrew's 2%. Microsoft Power BI also leads on rating (4.7 vs 3.6) and ratings volume (97K vs 218). eCrew's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Microsoft Power BI holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Microsoft Power BI has 97K ratings behind it against 218, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 47% of Microsoft Power BI's written reviews are positive against 2% of eCrew's.

Microsoft Power BI ships an update fortnightly, eCrew every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
