# Happy Link vs Connect the Dots

The clearest difference is update cadence: Connect the Dots at every 2 months against Happy Link's every 20 months. Connect the Dots also leads on ratings volume (794 vs 41). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Happy Link sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Connect the Dots sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Happy Link against 4.6 for Connect the Dots. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Connect the Dots has 794 ratings behind it against 41, so its average is the more settled of the two. Happy Link ships an update every 20 months, Connect the Dots every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
