# OMOTENASHI GUIDE vs 7

The clearest difference is rating: 7 at 4.7 against OMOTENASHI GUIDE's 4.0. 7 also leads on ratings volume (320 vs 11). OMOTENASHI GUIDE's advantage is review sentiment (72% vs 36%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

7 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 7 has 320 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of OMOTENASHI GUIDE's written reviews are positive against 36% of 7's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OMOTENASHI GUIDE ships an update every 3 weeks, 7 every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
