# V vs 5G Speed Test

The clearest difference is rating: V at 4.7 against 5G Speed Test's 3.6. V also leads on review sentiment (92% vs 58%) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 22). 5G Speed Test's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

V holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: V has 1.3K ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two.
