# eXtra Voice Recorder Pro vs Barcode Organizer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Barcode Organizer at 100% against eXtra Voice Recorder Pro's 61%. eXtra Voice Recorder Pro's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and monetization model (ad-supported vs paid). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

eXtra Voice Recorder Pro costs $2.99 and Barcode Organizer $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

eXtra Voice Recorder Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: eXtra Voice Recorder Pro has 242 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of eXtra Voice Recorder Pro's written reviews are positive against 100% of Barcode Organizer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

eXtra Voice Recorder Pro ships an update every 38 months, Barcode Organizer every 33 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
