# Seesaw vs Thomas County Schools

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Thomas County Schools at 100% against Seesaw's 46%. Thomas County Schools also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.6). Seesaw's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 3.4) and update cadence (weekly vs every 9 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Seesaw sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Thomas County Schools asks for nothing beyond the download.

Seesaw holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Seesaw has 100K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of Seesaw's written reviews are positive against 100% of Thomas County Schools's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Seesaw ships an update weekly, Thomas County Schools every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
