# Seesaw vs Marshall IL Schools

Seesaw and Marshall IL Schools both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Marshall IL Schools's written reviews are positive against 46% of Seesaw's. Marshall IL Schools also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1). Seesaw's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (100K vs 13). On price, rating, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Seesaw sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Marshall IL Schools asks for nothing beyond the download.

Seesaw holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Seesaw has 100K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of Seesaw's written reviews are positive against 100% of Marshall IL Schools's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Seesaw ships an update weekly, Marshall IL Schools every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
