# Seesaw vs Starpoint CSD

The clearest difference is rating: Seesaw at 4.8 against Starpoint CSD's 2.4. Seesaw also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (100K vs 14). Starpoint CSD's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (75% vs 46%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Seesaw sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Starpoint CSD asks for nothing beyond the download.

Seesaw holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Seesaw has 100K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of Seesaw's written reviews are positive against 75% of Starpoint CSD's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Seesaw ships an update weekly, Starpoint CSD every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
