# Seesaw vs Lanier Elementary School

The clearest difference is rating: Seesaw at 4.8 against Lanier Elementary School's 3.0. Seesaw also leads on ratings volume (100K vs 2) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). Lanier Elementary School's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Seesaw sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Lanier Elementary School asks for nothing beyond the download.

Seesaw holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Seesaw has 100K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of Seesaw's written reviews are positive against 50% of Lanier Elementary School's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
