# KFDM WX vs KFDM WeatherNET

KFDM WX and KFDM WeatherNET both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of KFDM WeatherNET's written reviews are positive against 67% of KFDM WX's. KFDM WeatherNET also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). KFDM WX's advantage is ratings volume (2.2K vs 12). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

KFDM WX holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KFDM WX has 2.2K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of KFDM WX's written reviews are positive against 100% of KFDM WeatherNET's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

KFDM WX ships an update every 3 months, KFDM WeatherNET every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
