# 黑岩阅读 vs 米读小说

The clearest difference is rating: 米读小说 at 4.6 against 黑岩阅读's 4.3. 米读小说 also leads on ratings volume (328 vs 41). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 黑岩阅读 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and 米读小说 sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

米读小说 holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 米读小说 has 328 ratings behind it against 41, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of 黑岩阅读's written reviews are positive against 58% of 米读小说's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

黑岩阅读 ships an update every 4 weeks, 米读小说 monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
