# Secret Folder vs Developersoft

The clearest difference is price: Developersoft at Free against Secret Folder's $0.99. Developersoft also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 66%). Secret Folder's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 1.0) and in-app purchases (none vs 2). On update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Developersoft is free to download; Secret Folder costs $0.99 up front. Developersoft sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.00 per month. Secret Folder asks for nothing beyond the download.

Secret Folder holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Secret Folder has 73 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Secret Folder's written reviews are positive against 100% of Developersoft's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Secret Folder ships an update weekly, Developersoft every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
