# Multisaurus vs Ask Assist

The clearest difference is rating: Ask Assist at 4.6 against Multisaurus's 4.1. Ask Assist also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (12K vs 237). Multisaurus's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (43% vs 30%). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Multisaurus sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Ask Assist sells 20 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ask Assist holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ask Assist has 12K ratings behind it against 237, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of Multisaurus's written reviews are positive against 30% of Ask Assist's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Multisaurus ships an update every 4 months, Ask Assist every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
