# Kith vs Sole Retriever

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Kith at none against Sole Retriever's 6. Kith also leads on ratings volume (39K vs 5.2K). Sole Retriever's advantage is chart position (#11 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sole Retriever sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Kith asks for nothing beyond the download.

Kith holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kith has 39K ratings behind it against 5.2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Kith's written reviews are positive against 74% of Sole Retriever's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Kith ships an update every 3 weeks, Sole Retriever monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
