# Kith vs The 5 Brand

The clearest difference is update cadence: Kith at every 3 weeks against The 5 Brand's every 9 months. Kith also leads on ratings volume (39K vs 18). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Kith against 5.0 for The 5 Brand. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kith has 39K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Kith ships an update every 3 weeks, The 5 Brand every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
