# Private File vs Encryptify

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Encryptify at none against Private File's 1. Private File's advantage is iOS requirement (7.0 vs 12.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Private File sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Encryptify asks for nothing beyond the download.
