# Monster Math vs Learn Math

Monster Math and Learn Math both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Learn Math's written reviews are positive against 67% of Monster Math's. Monster Math's advantage is ratings volume (35K vs 11) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Monster Math sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Learn Math sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Monster Math against 4.6 for Learn Math. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Monster Math has 35K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 67% of Monster Math's written reviews are positive against 100% of Learn Math's.

Monster Math ships an update every 4 days, Learn Math every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
