# Dropshare vs Set App

The clearest difference is rating: Set App at 5.0 against Dropshare's 4.1. Set App also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 5) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Dropshare's advantage is ratings volume (65 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dropshare sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Set App asks for nothing beyond the download.

Set App holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dropshare has 65 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Dropshare ships an update monthly, Set App every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
