# Dropshare vs The Genesys

The clearest difference is update cadence: The Genesys at every 5 days against Dropshare's every 3 weeks. The Genesys also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dropshare sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and The Genesys sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dropshare ships an update every 3 weeks, The Genesys every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
