# CoCoCal vs Sorted³

The clearest difference is price: Sorted³ at Free against CoCoCal's $3.99. Sorted³ also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months). CoCoCal's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 11) and review sentiment (81% vs 73%). On ads there is nothing between them.

Sorted³ is free to download; CoCoCal costs $3.99 up front. Sorted³ sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. CoCoCal asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sorted³ holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sorted³ has 4.1K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of CoCoCal's written reviews are positive against 73% of Sorted³'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CoCoCal ships an update every 5 months, Sorted³ every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
