# WeathU vs UV Watch

The clearest difference is update cadence: UV Watch at monthly against WeathU's every 21 months. UV Watch also leads on ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WeathU sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and UV Watch sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for WeathU against 5.0 for UV Watch. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UV Watch has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WeathU ships an update every 21 months, UV Watch monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
