# WeathU vs SkyBit

The clearest difference is ads: WeathU at none against SkyBit's shown. WeathU also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). SkyBit's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 21 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WeathU sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SkyBit sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WeathU ships an update every 21 months, SkyBit monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
