# Text2Drive vs RR

The clearest difference is rating: RR at 2.6 against Text2Drive's 1.9. RR also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RR holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 1.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 100 and 41 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Text2Drive's written reviews are positive against 18% of RR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Text2Drive ships an update monthly, RR fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
