# Text2Drive vs xCloud Auto

The clearest difference is update cadence: xCloud Auto at every 2 weeks against Text2Drive's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Text2Drive ships an update monthly, xCloud Auto every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and September 15, 2026 respectively.
