# AutoCode vs Key Innovations

The clearest difference is rating: AutoCode at 4.7 against Key Innovations's 4.1. AutoCode also leads on ratings volume (102 vs 9) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). Key Innovations's advantage is monetization model (free vs paid) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AutoCode holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AutoCode has 102 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AutoCode ships an update every 2 months, Key Innovations monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
