# Jamba vs Capitol Coffee

The clearest difference is monetization model: Capitol Coffee at free against Jamba's free with in-app purchases. Capitol Coffee also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Jamba's advantage is ratings volume (132K vs 2) and chart position (#149 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Capitol Coffee holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jamba has 132K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Jamba ships an update monthly, Capitol Coffee every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
