# Spearfish School District vs Campus Parent

The clearest difference is rating: Spearfish School District at 3.9 against Campus Parent's 1.9. Spearfish School District also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). Campus Parent's advantage is ratings volume (2.7K vs 10) and chart position (#166 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Spearfish School District holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Campus Parent has 2.7K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Spearfish School District's written reviews are positive against 9% of Campus Parent's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
