# Timeport. vs Mostnote

The clearest difference is rating: Mostnote at 3.7 against Timeport.'s 3.0. Mostnote also leads on ratings volume (14 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.3 vs 16.0). Timeport.'s advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timeport. sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Mostnote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mostnote holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mostnote has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Timeport.'s written reviews are positive against 63% of Mostnote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Timeport. ships an update every 5 weeks, Mostnote every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
