# JSMC vs YJA

The clearest difference is update cadence: YJA at every 3 days against JSMC's every 15 months. YJA also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). JSMC's advantage is ratings volume (11 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

YJA holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: JSMC has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

JSMC ships an update every 15 months, YJA every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
