# TanukiFamily vs Biscotto

The clearest difference is rating: TanukiFamily at 4.8 against Biscotto's 3.7. TanukiFamily also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 3). Biscotto's advantage is review sentiment (85% vs 59%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TanukiFamily holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TanukiFamily has 1.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of TanukiFamily's written reviews are positive against 85% of Biscotto's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TanukiFamily ships an update every 2 weeks, Biscotto every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
